Originally constructed in 1932, BCH is now a 25-bed critical access hospital serving Bucyrus and surrounding areas. BCH is in the Avita Health System family of hospitals and healthcare clinics.
Bucyrus Community Hospital for many years was fully accredited by The Joint Commission. Currently, BCH is accredited by DNV (Det Norske Veritas) Healthcare. BCH is a member of the American Hospital Association, the Ohio Hospital Association, the Hospital Alliance of Ohio, and Voluntary Hospitals of America.
